Incite Wins 2008 BDC Young Entrepreneur Award
On October 21, 2008, Incite Solutions Inc. was awarded the 2008 BDC Young Entrepreneur Award. Principals Ted Kouri and Jared Smith hopped a plane to Vancouver, British Columbia to receive the award in-person at an official gala ceremony. The ceremony itself was quite the dazzling event as it featured a light show, music, and videos on each winner. The Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) Young Entrepreneur Awards recognizes one winning business per province and territory, for a total of 13 awards. The BDC Young Entrepreneur Awards recognize the entrepreneurial spirit and the business and leadership accomplishments of Canadians between the ages of 19 and 35. Winners from each province and territory are selected by a panel based on the originality of their business concept, success, growth potential and social involvement. The panel also considers the entrepreneur's age when the business was started and any special challenges that were overcome.
